NTPC-Barh in collaboration with CQA organised one day program on Welder Sensitisation. The program was inaugurated by Sh. S. N. Tripathi -ED(Project Management) in presence of Sh. Asit Dutta - ED and HoP(Barh), CGM(Project),GM(QA&IS-CQA) GM(TS), GM(O), AGM(FQA), AGM(CQA) and senior executives from Doosan and BHEL.

The training/ sensitisation sessions were conducted by Sh. B. C. Roy - GM(QA&IS), Sh. R. K. Jain - AGM(CQA), Barh-FQA and quality professionals from Doosan.


The program was oriented for welders, fitters, helpers and heat treatment technicians. The program received overwhelming response from Erection and O&M departments, and thus participants were later on restricted to a limited number and there is demand of further such programs in coming months.

A quiz for participants was also conducted at the end of program to ascertain learnings.

The prize distribution, felicitation of faculties and closing ceremony took place in presence Sh. Subrata De, GM(TS).
